If you’re arriving outside reception hours, don’t worry, we’ll provide after-hours check-in instructions once your online check-in has been completed and valid photo identification has been provided to match the credit card used for your booking.
Booking Terms & Conditions
Arrival & Departure
If you arrive before check-in, you’re welcome to enjoy the resort facilities, including the pool, while your apartment is being prepared.
If you’d like to continue using the resort facilities after checking out, please speak with Reception. Where possible, we’re happy to accommodate this, subject to availability.
During Your Stay
To help everyone enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay, we kindly ask that guests observe the following:
- Please register any additional guests with Reception on arrival.
- Our apartments are intended for relaxing holidays, so parties and events aren’t permitted.
- Out of consideration for other guests, we ask that noise be ceased by 9:00 pm.
- Management is not liable for loss, damage, or destruction to any personal property or motor vehicle brought upon these premises by a guest or invitee.
- Element on Coolum Beach is a smoke-free resort. Smoking and vaping aren’t permitted inside apartments, on balconies, or within the resort grounds.
- Pets aren’t permitted.
- Please avoid hanging towels or clothing over balcony railings.
- For everyone’s safety, alcohol, glassware, and crockery aren’t permitted in the pool area.
- If anything is accidentally damaged or broken during your stay, please let Reception know as soon as possible. In some cases, repair or replacement costs may apply.
- All guests are responsible for any loss or damage to keys or security tags, additional charges may apply.
All guests and visitors must comply with Element on Coolum Beach body corporate by-laws (a copy is available at reception).
Access to Your Apartment
Management reserves the right to enter a room to conduct routine or urgent maintenance during a stay.
Personal Belongings
While we take every care to provide a safe and secure environment, guests are responsible for their personal belongings and vehicles during their stay. Element on Coolum Beach cannot accept liability for any loss, theft or damage to personal property.
Guests are also responsible for any lost keys, security tags or remotes. Replacement charges may apply where required.
Identification & Security
Guests must be at least 18 years old to book Element on Coolum. We will ask you to provide a photo ID and view your credit card at check-in to ensure that your identity matches the booking.
A record and/or copy of this photo ID may be retained to minimize the risk of fraudulent credit card usage and for verification purposes with your credit card provider in the event of a dispute. You may be asked to provide a credit card “pre-authorisation” as a security deposit on arrival, which may be used to cover any incidental items, breakages, o damage incurred during your stay.
Services Provided
Housekeeping and linen service will be provided to guests staying 7 nights or more in which a mid-service clean will be done on or around the 3rd day. If extra servicing is required, additional charges apply.

Property photographs are representative only, actual apartments occupied may slightly vary in decor and inclusions from those shown.
Cancellations & Early Departures
If you decide to shorten your stay after arrival, refunds aren’t available for unused nights. Please refer to your booking confirmation for the cancellation policy that applies to your reservation.
Travel Insurance
We recommend that, at the time of booking, you consider purchasing a travel insurance policy of your choice. Travel Insurance can be purchased from any travel agent.
Limit of Liability
We do our best to ensure your booking arrangements are satisfactory; however, Element on Coolum Beach does not accept any liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond its control.
Policy Updates
From time to time, these Terms & Conditions may be updated to reflect changes in legislation, industry standards or our operating procedures.
