Slow mornings await you at Element on Coolum Beach
Arrival & check-in
Check-in is from 2:00 PM. If your apartment is ready earlier, we’ll let you know by SMS or email.
Early check-in from 10 AM, and late check-out to 3 PM may be requested for $90 each, subject to availability.
If you’re arriving outside office hours, we’ll send self-check-in instructions before arrival. These include the Elizabeth Street carpark entry, key safe location, access code, and parking details.
Reception is located inside the gate at the top of the stairs between Estancia Maria Wine Bar and Coolum Thai Spice Restaurant on David Low Way. There is a pedestrian ramp from the car park that leads to the street level near the bottom of the stairs.
If you are unable to use the stairs, please call us when you arrive on 07 5455 1777 and we will be able to assist you. Once you have your keys, you will have access to the lifts and you will not need to use the stairs again, unless you choose to.
Keys are usually collected from reception during office hours. For after-hours arrivals, keys will be placed in the secure key safe and instructions will be sent to you.
Luggage storage may be available during office hours if you arrive before your apartment is ready. Office hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
- Public holidays: Hours vary
Closed Christmas Day, unless prior arrangements have been made
Parking & access
Vehicle access is via Elizabeth Street, opposite the Coolum Bowls Club, which is behind our building. Meanwhile, the pedestrian entrance is at 1808 David Low Way, between the nearby restaurants.
All apartments include allocated secure undercover parking. If you have more than one vehicle, please let us know and we’ll confirm what options are available.
The underground car park clearance is 2.25 metres.
Your apartment
Yes, but it’s subject to availability. Please let us know your preferred bed configuration before arrival, and if it’s available, we’ll have it set up before your arrival.
Our self-contained apartments include a full kitchen, laundry facilities, premium appliances and furnishings, ThankYou personal care products, and high-speed fibre Wi-Fi.
Yes, we can usually arrange a portacot for $35 per booking or a high chair free of charge on request. Please request these before arrival so we can add them to your booking.
Please let us know as soon as possible with the apartment number and a short description of the issue. We’ll arrange maintenance or inspect it during your stay.
Fresh towels or a room service can be provided at an additional charge unless the stay is for 7 nights or more
Facilities & policies
Yes, the swimming pool and BBQ are available for guest use at no extra charge. The pool is heated all year round.
High-speed fibre Wi-Fi is available. Login details can be found on a small sign on the wall between the kitchen and living area. Should you experience any difficulty connecting, please contact our reception team and we will be happy to assist.
All general waste and recycling bins are located in our basement car park. The green or red topped bins are for general waste, the yellow topped bins are for recycling, and the white topped bins are for bottles and drink cans that have a 10c refund label on them, and money raised from these bins goes to charity.
To keep every stay comfortable and our apartments at their best, pets aren’t permitted to stay or visit at Element on Coolum Beach.
Element on Coolum Beach is a smoke-free resort, so smoking and vaping are not allowed within resort grounds. This helps us keep the air fresh for all our guests. We recommend reading our Terms and Conditions.
Contact us with a description of the item and where you think it was left. We’ll check with housekeeping and arrange collection or return where possible.
Bookings & payments
Your booking balance is due according to your reservation terms. If payment is still outstanding or a card has declined, we’ll let you know and provide payment instructions.
If you booked directly with us, we’re happy to review your request in line with our booking policy and availability. If you booked through Booking.com, Expedia or another third-party platform, your reservation is subject to that platform’s cancellation policy, and any changes will need to be made directly through them.
Upgrades or room changes are subject to availability. Send us your request and we’ll let you know what options are available.
Good to know
We’re right opposite the beach, with easy walkable access from the property. You don’t need to drive; just park your car and go.
Yes, we’d love to be a part of your big day. Element on Coolum Beach doesn’t host
ceremonies on site, but we’re a proud accommodation partner for two nearby wedding venues, The Rocks and Yandina Station. We’re also happy to offer discounted packages for wedding groups. Check out our Weddings page for more information.
