Open for lunch and dinner seven days a week; the Surf Club has been voted one of the best Coolum restaurants – for a good reason! There’s something for everyone with local fresh seafood, gourmet pizzas, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and dairy-free and gluten-free options. With a wood-fired chargrill for the perfect steak and house-made desserts, you’ll love their choices. So stop for a long lunch, a quick snack or dinner with friends.
Coolum Beach Hotel
With a Family Bistro and a Sports Bar open late, the Coolum Beach Hotel has excellent options whether you’re dining with the family or looking for a night out. The Family bistro offers a range of meals from your favourite pub classics to fresh seafood and succulent steaks, as well as menus for the kids and seniors. Sit inside at the bistro or undercover deck to enjoy the coastal weather.
The Sports Bar is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat while catching the game, with a smaller selection from the main menu in the bistro.
Kids are catered for, too, with a vast playground just off the main bistro to keep the little ones entertained.
Ma Boulange Cafe
Are you looking for a little piece of France on the Sunshine Coast? Ma Boulange Café is the place to try authentic French patisserie by the beach. With everything made on the premises by their qualified pastry chefs, you won’t want to miss these delights. Open from 6 am to 12 pm Wednesday thru Sunday, grab breakfast or brunch and enjoy your treats on the outdoor dining out the front.
Gelato Mio
What’s a trip to the beach without gelato? Gelato Mio is the place to visit and is on our doorstep at Element on Coolum Beach. An award-winning traditional artisan gelato shop, their gelato is made fresh daily with no preservatives and uses locally sourced ingredients. You will need more than one visit, from sorbets to smoothies to shakes and even gelato cakes. They also offer a range of healthy alternatives to suit almost any dietary requirements. Open seven days from mid-morning, pop in after a swim at the beach.
Coolum Thai Spice
A licenced Thai restaurant on the esplanade, Coolum Thai Spice is a great spot for delicious Thai cuisine made with fresh ingredients to dine in or take away. There’s so much to choose from, from soups to curries, Thai barbeque and delicious Thai salads. They are open six days a week throughout the year, maintaining seasonal hours.
The Coffee Club
Need that morning coffee to get your day started? The Coffee Club is located at Element on Coolum Beach, making it the perfect place to start your day. With all-day breakfast and café lunch options, why not grab a bite with your coffee? In addition, they offer dine-in and takeaway and are open from 6:30 am, seven days a week.
Amore Pizza Co
Treat yourself to an Italian Woodfired pizza at Amore Pizza Co., A fully licenced pizzeria with dine-in or takeaway options; they are open from 4-8 pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Watch as the team sling the dough to make your pizza, and try one of the most delicious traditional Italian woodfired pizzas you can get outside Italy. With cheesy garlic bread, Italian wine, salads and desserts to complement the pizza, it’s perfect for remembering an evening meal.
Raw Energy
If you love healthy eating, you’ll love Raw Energy. Open from 6:30 am to mid-afternoon; they offer a fresh and healthy all-day menu.
