Terms & Conditions

Please check all your details are correct. If any information is incorrect please contact us as soon as possible.
Our reception hours are:
Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Saturday/Sunday: 9:00am – 11:00am
Public Holidays: 9:00am – 11:00am

We do provide an after-hours service if you will be arriving outside of these hours. Please advise us if you will be a late arrival and we will explain your check-in procedure.

Deposits & Prepayment:

Low Season – No deposit is required at the time of booking.  All payments will be taken on the morning of arrival from your nominated credit card unless prior arrangements have been made. If cancelled within 72 hours of arrival, the booking is non-refundable.

Mid-Season (School Holidays) – No deposit is required at the time of booking.  The total price of the reservation will be taken 7 days prior to arrival from your nominated credit card unless prior arrangements have been made. If cancelled within 7 days of arrival, the booking is non-refundable.

Peak periods (end of year School Holidays and Easter) – No deposit is required at the time of booking.  The total price of the reservation will be taken 28 days prior to arrival from your nominated credit card unless prior arrangements have been made. If cancelled within 28 days of arrival, the booking is non-refundable.

No-show – If you do not show up for your booking, the total amount is non-refundable.

*The resort will allow cancellations without penalty (even when the above policies dictate a cancellation fee) only when a ‘Federal’ order, or a ‘State’ order is in place that prohibits a guest to transit between their state of origin and the resort as a direct impact associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Payment plans (no additional costs) to help you budget we do offer payment plans, so please ask us for our bank account details to help you make regular smaller payments in order to reduce that lump sum upon arrival.

*Please note: if any of your travel dates crossover into peak season, the Peak Season deposit and cancellation policy will apply.

Arrival / Departure

Should an arriving guest have a temperature or be symptomatic (cough, cold, temperature), they will be required to use a contactless check-in and fully isolate within their Apartment – without accessing the resorts facilities until a negative COVID-19 test is presented.

In the effort to keep all Staff and Guests safe, we encourage our Guests to advise staff if you have been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 or if you have tested positive during your stay. Additional cleans are required in apartments where Covid traces may be present and may incur an additional charge. Please help us keep everyone safe by notifying staff immediately of any covid related concerns.

Arrivals earlier than check-in time (2pm) may use the resort pool.

The use of resort facilities after checking out (11am) is not available.

This policy will be updated in real-time based on government and industry body advice.

Booking Terms & Conditions

1. All additional guests must register with Reception
2. No refund for early departures
3. All apartments are NON-SMOKING
4. Please report any damage or breakages to reception immediately, charges may apply at management discretion
5. Please do not hang towels or clothing off balconies
6. No alcohol, glass or crockery can be brought to the pool area

All guests and visitors must comply with Element on Coolum Beach body corporate by-laws (copy available at Reception)

In consideration of other guests, outdoor noise must cease by 9 p.m.
Understand that management shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or destruction to any personal property/motor vehicle brought upon these premises by a guest or invitee.

All guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to keys or security tags, and additional charges may apply.

Element on Coolum Beach has a no party policy.

Identification & Security:
We will ask you to provide photo ID and view your credit card at check-in to ensure that your identity matches the booking identity. A record and/or copy of this photo ID may be retained to minimise the risk of fraudulent credit card usage and for verification purposes with your credit card provider in the event of disputation. You may be asked to provide a credit card “pre-authorisation” as a security deposit on arrival which then may be used to cover any incidental items, breakages or damage incurred during your stay.

Services Provided:
Housekeeping and linen service will be provided to guests staying 7 nights or more in which a mid-service clean will be done on or around the 3rd day. NOTE: If extra servicing is required additional charges apply.

Descriptions & Photographs:
Property photographs are representative only, actual apartments occupied may vary in decor and inclusions from those shown.

Travel Insurance:
We recommend that, at time of booking, you consider purchasing a travel insurance policy of your choice. Travel Insurance can be purchased from any travel agent.

Limit of liability:
We do our best to ensure your booking arrangements are satisfactory, however Element on Coolum Beach does not accept any liability for any injury damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond its control.
