Mt Coolum

You’ll discover magnificent views from Mt Coolum, 208m above sea level. Mt Coolum is rich in plant and birdlife and is the second largest rock in Australia, next to Uluru.

 Low’s Lookout

Grab a packed lunch and take in the historical significance of this lookout, tucked away at the top of Grandview Drive, off Scrub Road. This spot has held Indigenous healing significance and was coined as ‘Toboggan Hill’ by locals.

Point Perry Lookout

The perfect position on a hot day well shaded with adjacent parking. You’ll find Point Perry just south of Coolum’s main beach. A favourite spot for wedding photographs.

First Bay

Coolum‘s First Bay is the perfect spot to take in the majestic view, and the unique ocean traffic that sails along the horizon. It feels like you are on the edge of the world!

Second Bay’s Whale Watching Platform

Coolum Beach now has its own purpose built whale watching platform that is easy to access for visitors. Whales can be found heading north for the mating season June to August and migrate south as it heats up from August to October. The view is magnificent all year round!
